Terms & Conditions

1. General Information

Keys-Academy provides term-based after-school piano clubs held on school sites in partnership with local primary schools.
Our clubs offer children a creative and relaxed environment to play, practise, and explore music with the support of qualified tutors.
These terms and conditions apply to all learners and/or their parents or guardians upon booking a place in a Keys-Academy after-school club.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • Each club runs for 10 weeks per school term, unless otherwise agreed with the host school.

  • The fee is £150 per term per student, payable in full before the start of the term.

  • Bookings may be handled either directly through Keys-Academy or through the host school, depending on the school’s administrative preference.

  • Payment secures the learner’s place and is non-transferable and non-refundable once the term has begun.

  • Late payments may result in the learner’s place being offered to another student.

3. Attendance and Cancellations

  • Sessions run on the scheduled school dates each week.

  • Missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot be carried over to future terms.

  • If Keys-Academy needs to cancel a session (for example, due to staff illness or school closures), we will do our best to arrange an alternative date or provide a suitable make-up session.

4. Behaviour and Conduct

  • Learners are expected to treat staff, fellow pupils, instruments, and school property with respect.

  • Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may lead to temporary or permanent exclusion from the club, without refund.

  • We aim to create a safe and positive environment where every child can enjoy learning and expressing themselves creatively.

5. Safeguarding and Child Protection

  • All sessions are led by experienced tutors with Enhanced DBS checks.

  • Keys-Academy follows its Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy, available upon request or from our website.

  • The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for Keys-Academy is Enoch Mukasa (enochkm7@gmail.com | 07866 008272).

  • Keys-Academy also holds public liability insurance, and the lead tutor is a paediatric first aider.

6. Liability

  • Keys-Academy accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property.

  • Participation in sessions is at your own risk.

  • All reasonable care is taken to ensure a safe and secure learning environment at all times.

7. Media and Content

  • From time to time, photos or short video clips may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes.

  • Keys-Academy will always seek consent from parents or guardians (and/or the school) before using any images or video content of learners.

  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting Keys-Academy in writing.
